The full edition needs Full Disk Access. Open System Settings → Privacy & Security → Full Disk Access, and add Heft. Protected areas (including the Trash) are invisible to any app without it.
Cleanup moves items to the Trash so they're recoverable. Disk space is freed when you empty the Trash — use the Empty button on the Overview screen, or empty it from Finder.
After purchase you'll receive a license key by email. In Heft, click Unlock Full Version (or Settings → License), paste the key, and choose Activate. You can deactivate to move it to another Mac.
Open the paywall and choose Restore purchase, signed in with the Apple ID you bought it on.
